What does a relationship with the God of the Universe look like?

How do I have a relationship with Jesus?

What does walking with God look like on this earth?

In Titus 2:11-12 God tells us:

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age…..

Boy what a mouthful. So as Christians do we accomplish this lifestyle perfectly, all the time? No, we don’t and we fall short daily. This life is a journey and we are living every day trying to be more like Jesus. This process is called Sanctification and prayerfully we grow every day we are allowed to live on this earth.

Ask Jesus to forgive you and be saved for eternity.

In John 3:16 through 3:21 God tells us:

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

I think that most people have heard of John 3:16 and at least have a basic idea of what accepting Jesus into your life is about. But if we were to ask you if you were going to heaven if you died today, which is a real possibility, what would you say? “Sure, I’m a good person, I haven’t done any horrible crime. I’ll get into heaven for sure”. But if that is what you are relying on you’re going to have a wake up call after you die. You see Jesus said that “no one will come to the father except through me”. What does this mean? It means there is only one way that the Father will forget your sin and that is through the sacrifice of Jesus. We aren’t saying this. It isn’t our narrow minded opinion that we are stating. It is fact! The Bible is the inspired Word of God. What it says is absolutely true. We would love to engage with you about this so please drop us a note if you would like more information and are exploring the peace that surpasses understanding when you trust the Word of God.
